Should I inspect the electric car before the trip?

Before getting into the electric vehicle, we recommend that you inspect for external damage and if there are any that are not marked with a checkmark symbol, report them through the app. The same goes for the interior of the electric car.

In this way, you are helping us keep electric cars neat and pleasant to drive.

How to start a SPARK electric car?

Starting electric cars is super easy. **Press the brake simultaneously with the START button** or by **turning the key**.
Some models, such as the Dacia Spring and Renault Zoe, require you to put the vehicle in neutral (N) with the handbrake engaged.
When the electric car has started, **OK** or **Ready** will appear on the screen. If unsuccessful, repeat the process or contact the SPARK Customer Support Center.

How to take the cable out from the car?

If the charging session has ended but the cable can't be removed from the car, press the unlock button on the car's remote, then remove the cable.

How do I find a SPARK electric car?

Accepted Answer

You will see the available SPARK cars on the map on the main screen in the app. You can find information about all the details: the price for short and long-term travel, battery level, etc.

If you do not find the electric car you reserved, but you see it on the map, it may be located in an underground parking lot.

In case you see an electric car nearby, but it is not visible on the map in the app, it is probably already booked by another user or in session.

How long does a SPARK reservation last? Can I cancel or extend it?

Accepted Answer

The initial reservation of an electric car is 15 minutes and is completely free. For subscribers of Recharged, Supercharged, and SPARK Pro plans, the initial reservation is longer – 20 or 25 minutes.

You can cancel it or extend it up to a total of 11 hours and 55 minutes. Any extension is payable according to the current prices for the specific model at the time of booking.

When extending the reservation, only the time the electric car is actually reserved for is paid. For example, if the reservation is made for 2 hours, but the session is started after 55 minutes, the user pays only for the 55-minute reservation.

Malfunction cases when you shouldn’t use the car

Question 8

Is it allowed for another person to drive a SPARK electric car using my profile or while I have rented the car?

Accepted Answer

No, it is forbidden to hand over control of the electric vehicle to another person during your session. You could be fined for any such violation.

Question 9

How to lock and unlock SPARK?

Accepted Answer

Everything is done through the mobile application.

To unlock your reserved electric vehicle, press the "**Unlock**" button in the application.

To **lock the car without ending the session** (e.g., you need to run an errand), use the car key or the remote.

To end the session, leave the key and documents in the glove box, take your personal belongings, exit the vehicle, and press the "**Lock**" button in the application.

Do I have to return the SPARK car to the same place I picked it up?

**You don't have to return the car to the same location.** When ending your session, park the electric car in a permitted spot **within the SPARK zones** – marked in blue or purple on the map in the app.
**NB!** It is forbidden to leave the cars in private or commercial parking lots that are not explicitly listed as our partners.
Please do not violate the Road Traffic Act or the municipal parking regulations. Keep in mind that the app will not let you end your session outside a SPARK zone.

What documents and equipment will I find in the SPARK electric car?

Accepted Answer

In the glove box of every electric car you will find:
• the **key**
• the **registration documents**
• the **insurance policy**
• and **access cards** for some of our partner locations.
When you get into the car, it's important to check that all of the above documents and items are there.
